After a clean slate 8-0 impressive start in her career, Alexa Grasso is about to step into the ring and get in the spotlight as she will make a long awaited and exciting debut in the UFC this weekend in Mexico City.
Alexa Grasso is equipped with the necessary skills needed to become a future superstar. The Province website said that Alexa Grasso always had the aura of becoming a potential superstar after taking on her first match in her career against Ashley Cummins.
Due to hard work, killer-instinct and perfect record, Alexa Grasso earned stand out distinctions and is considered to be one of the breakout stars on the roster. The Invicta FC roster has placed Alexa Grasso along with veteran Tonya Evinger, Brazilian Crstiane "Cyborg" Justine and Lobo Gym teammate, Irene Aldana in the list of leaders of the next generation.
However, Grasso also had to go through some setbacks due to her injuries, despite showing stellar performances. Grasso went through a 17-month recovery before stepping again the cage, grabbing her fourth win playing under the Invicta FC roster. She then followed it with impressive four consecutive wins, cementing her eight overall winning streaks, proving that her injuries didn't take away a lot from her.
This will be the first time Grasso will step into the spotlight of UFC bout. A lot is expected from the youngster as she is considered to be one of the top prospects for the last couple of years.
Much is ahead for the new kid on the block but this weekend, we will witness what she can offer as she qualifies and fights for the title in the UFC strawweight division, where she will face veteran fighter, Heather Jo Clark in the opening match.
