‘Castle’ Season 9: Coming Back But Without Nathan Fillion’s Original Leading Lady?

The last season with "Castle" before it finally says goodbye in Season 8 show the death of crime-bust dudes at LokSat and the demise of Caleb Brown.

There's total closure when Rick and Kate are featured having breakfast with their three children. That sounds like a final adieu especially when Stana Katic who plays the wife, is not so keen on continuing.

The friction is allegedly about the roughness of Nathan Fillion's attitude towards his "Castle" co-stars, especially Stana Katic. There were times that Katic is hiding her teary eyes in the dressing room, according to Fab Newz.

The on-screen couple even went as far as going counseling to settle the differences. Then finally on May 12, 2016, the producers canceled the show with outstanding payables to the "Castle" casts.

Stana Katic was rumored to try to re-negotiate her talent fee but she was fired instead. The management probably felt that she's not at par with her high compensation for doing "Castle" Season 8.

It is unlikely that Katic will not be on "Castle" Season 9 if ever. Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter who are the co-producers have recorded alternate episode for the "Castle" Season 8 finale.

Katic's character is expected to disappear in the review of "Castle" Season 8. Andrew Marlowe explained the scenario on how the story continues in "Castle" season 9 without Katic, says TV Line.

Most followers might want to see Caskett again, but it seems that "Castle" coming back into the TV screens for Season 9 is better than nothing. Just like in real life, if the differences are irreconcilable, better get a divorce!

Perhaps giving ample time to "Castle" Season 9 is just fair. They can do better job if the people around them are working harmoniously with each other. As fat as the main character's attitude? There must be something that provokes him!
