The upcoming episode of "Madam Secretary" Season 3 will showcase an update about the McCord family's stalker. A state dinner between the United States and France, meanwhile, will be put at risk and it's up to Elizabeth (Téa Leoni) to fix the matter.
In "Madam Secretary" episode five titled "The French Revolution," "an imminent U.S.-France state dinner is jeopardized after a CIA operative is captured by French intelligence," SpoilerTV reported. Elizabeth will work on the operative's freedom while ensuring that the event will sail smoothly.
The upcoming "Madam Secretary" episode will introduce "an important lead" about the McCord family's stalker, who uses various forms of technology to terrorize the couple and their three children -- Stephanie "Stevie" (Wallis Currie-Wood), Alison (Kathrine Herzer), and Jason (Evan Roe). The stalking case made the McCord family get security detail and ask for FBI Director Keith Doherty's (Michael Boatman) assistance to uncover the stalker's identity, Parent Herald previously reported.
Russell (Željko Ivanek), on the other hand, will convince big donors back into President Conrad Dalton's (Keith Carradine) campaign. Watch a promo for episode five below.
A Season 4 renewal for "Madam Secretary" hasn't been announced yet. A 2017 renewal scorecard from TVLine, however, believes that "Madam Secretary" returning for a fourth season on CBS is "a safe bet."
Synopsis for episodes six and seven of "Madam Secretary" have already been released. Episode six is titled "The Statement" and will feature Elizabeth working on a terrorist bombing at a coffee shop in Illinois, SpoilerTV reported.
The secretary of state soon discovers that the terrorist/s was funded by a person connected to the Saudi government. Matt (Geoffrey Arend) will refuse to issue a statement about the bombing because of his ties to the bomber, who he goes to the same mosque with.
Episode seven of "Madam Secretary" Season 3 is titled "Tectonic Shift" and will feature Elizabeth preventing a power grab by the son of Venezuela's president, who was killed in an earthquake along with the immediate successors to his position, according to a separate report from SpoilerTV. Elizabeth's brother, Will (Eric Stoltz), will grapple between saving his marriage by accepting a job at a hospital and going to Venezuela as part of the U.S. relief effort.
