‘Lucifer’ Season 2 Episode 7 Spoilers: Season 3 Renewal Confirmed? Lucifer Impersonates Dan, Death Of Chloe’s Father A Frame Job?

Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) will attempt to be more normal in the upcoming episode of "Lucifer" Season 2. On the other hand, Chloe (Lauren German) will suspect that there's more to her father's death.

In episode seven of "Lucifer" Season 2 titled "My Little Monkey," Chloe will point out that Lucifer is being too much. The fallen angel will heed Chloe's insight and he will attempt to become normal by copying Dan a.k.a. Detective Douche (Kevin Alejandro) as his life peg, SpoilerTV reported.

Lucifer will impersonate Dan as best he could and even went as far as copying the latter's accent and gestures. Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt), on the other hand, attempts to find a new job. Maze will also have a discussion with Dr. Linda Martin (Rachael Harris), who recently saw Lucifer transform into the devil in the previous episode.

The promo for the upcoming "Lucifer" episode also shows Lucifer and Dan approach a Russian gangster who may have knowledge about the real killer of Chloe's father. The prisoner convicted of murdering Chloe's father was killed recently and "new evidence suggests he was actually framed." Who is the real killer then?

Episode seven of "Lucifer" Season 2 airs on Monday, Nov. 7 on Fox at 9 PM ET. Watch the promo below.

Next week's "Lucifer" episode will showcase the fallen angel looking for Azrael's blade to stop a series of crimes. According to a separate report from SpoilerTV, Lucifer will discover that a human stole Azrael's blade and it's linked to the violent stabbings in a local yoga studio. Chloe will investigate the bloody murders in episode eight of "Lucifer" Season 2 titled "Trip to Stabby Town," while Lucifer will ask for Ella's (Aimee Garcia) assistance in finding the blade's location.

"Lucifer" recently got a full Season 2 order by Fox. The series began its current season with a 13-episode pickup but now has 22 episodes, Deadline reported. The show's ratings have been steady, averaging a total of eight million viewers in multi-platforms as of late.

With this pickup, it's highly possible that "Lucifer" will get renewed for a third season. TVLine's 2017 renewal scorecard lists "Lucifer" Season 3 as "safe bet."
