The squad on "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" will be holding an impromptu wedding for Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) this November and the intended perfect occasion will be with some hitches. Jake (Andy Samberg) is also making a big step in his relationship as he meets Amy's (Melissa Fumero) dad, Mr. Santiago. Special guest Jimmy Smits drops in.
There will be no "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" this week due to the U.S. Elections. The next episode called "Monster in the Closet" will be airing on Tuesday, Nov. 15 and it will be Rosa's big day. She and Adrian Pimento (Jason Mantzoukas) will finally take the plunge and Amy will help arrange her impromptu wedding.
Pimento will also enlist the help of Jake and Gina (Chelsea Peretti) to find his grandmother's ruby earrings for Rosa to wear at the ceremony, per The Nine Nine. What happens to Jake and Gina will have bearing on the wedding's outcome in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."
Viewers might recall that Rosa and Pimento were supposed to marry in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 3, per TV Overmind. But this did not push through because Pimento had to fake his own death to protect his undercover work. All this time, Rosa has been hopeful Pimento will be cleared to return to marry her.
Following the wedding on "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," Jake will also be making a big commitment in the episode "Mr. Santiago," which will air on Tuesday, Nov. 22. He and girlfriend Amy will be having dinner with her dad for the first time for Thanksgiving. Jimmy Smits is playing Mr. Santiago, a no-nonsense retired cop, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
On Tuesday, Nov. 29, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" will be airing what would have been the sixth episode called "Skyfire Cycle." Due to pre-emptions by the World Series and the U.S. Elections, this was pushed back to a later date.
Fred Melamed is special guest in this "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" episode. He will be playing an author who has been receiving death threats. Jake and Terry (Terry Crews) will be assigned to his case in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." Keep checking back to this site for the latest on the series.
