NBA Latest Trade Rumors: Nerlens Ricky Rubio Is Going to Cavs, Iman Shumpert To Timberwolves In Three-Team Deal With Noel 76ers

NBA trade rumors continue whispering around the league as tensions and fan expectations soar. One of the latest rumors in the NBA, for now, is whether the Minnesota Timberwolves looking to trade Ricky Rubio with Iman Shumpert to the Cavaliers. Even though rumors of the Giant Center Noel began in the summer, it is still ongoing in Cleveland, especially with fans.

Sports Rageous reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers will suspend shooting guard Iman Shumpert from the NBA league. This was all because of Shumpert's involvement in the marijuana controversy. This has paved the way for the trade rumors that the Cleveland management will probably send Shumpert to other teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves or the Philadelphia 76ers.

According to Inquisitr, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been inquiring about the availability of shooting guard Iman Shumpert. And since the Cleveland Cavaliers is looking for a point guard to back up Kyrie Irving, Minnesota's point guard Ricky Rubio would be Cleveland's clearest target for a possible trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Ricky Rubio was the youngest player ever to play in the Spanish ACB League at age of 14. He also made his Euro league debut at age 16, which made him one of the first players born in the 1990s to play in a Euro league game.

In 2009, Ricky Rubio was drafted with the fifth pick in the first round of the 2009 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves. And again, this made him the first player born in the 1990s to be drafted by the NBA. The Timberwolves had an agreement in principle with his former Spanish team Joventut to buy out his contract, but Ricky Rubio backed out of the deal.

Rubio also played in the 2008 Olympics Basketball Tournament's gold medal game against the USA, and this made him the youngest basketball player to ever play in the Olympic basketball finals at the age of 17.

The latest talk around the NBA is pointing toward a massive ten-player swap between the Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Minnesota Timberwolves.
