Samsung Galaxy S8 News and Latest Updates: Smartphone New Design and Artificial Intelligence Feature, Connect Phone to Appliance

Samsung is shaking off the Galaxy Note 7 disaster by releasing a better smartphone model Galaxy 8. This new model comes with massive changes and artificial intelligence feature.

Reuters reported that on Sunday, Samsung Electronics Company said it would launch the newest artificial intelligence digital assistant service for its upcoming smartphone Samsung Galaxy S8. The purpose of Samsung Galaxy S8 latest feature obviously is to recoil back from the disaster of Galaxy Note 7 and to make it stand out from Samsung's other flagship devices. However, Samsung still could not explain to the public about the reason behind the Note 7 explosions.

Samsung plans to incorporate the San Jose-based company's AI platform called Viv into the Samsung Galaxy 8 and expand its voice-assistant services to home appliances and wearable technology devices.

Samsung has high hopes on the its latest Samsung Galaxy S8 to help revive the company's momentum after shaking off the Galaxy Note 7 disaster. The company strongly believed that profits from this new model Samsung Galaxy S8 will hit around $5.4 billion over the first three quarters of 2017.

According to The Verge, Samsung still has no idea what scientific reason caused Galaxy Note 7 batteries to explode, but that will not stop the company from focusing on future phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S8.

The vice chairman and board member of the Samsung, which also is the apparent heir to the company, Lee Jae-Yong told the Wall Street Journal that Samsung Galaxy S8 will be released next year, and it will come with a better design and an improved camera. The company also promised that it will have a better artificial intelligence feature.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had cost the company more than $5 billion and it is unclear whether a large amount of negative press such as a Stephen Colbert skit will have lasting result on sales.

Samsung also is planning to differentiate their devices by incorporating AI, a connection from phones to fridges, for example.
