‘Sister Wives’ Season 8 Spoilers: Story To Focus On Children; Plus! Will Kody And Meri Save Their Marriage?

Marriage, raising kids and family are a few of the core values of TLC's "Sister Wives" and that's why many viewers can identify with the show. Despite the Brown family's unusual set-up, they're still like any other families with usual problems. The series' upcoming Season 8 is all about that -- saving relationships and raising children.

In an interview with TLC, Kody Brown and his wives stated that showing the real side of their family is what they're all about. Kody's second wife Janelle even said that their show may have changed society's definition of what family is.

In the recently released trailer for "Sister Wives" Season 8, it is clear that the pilot focuses on Kody and Meri's relationship. There have been rumors in the past suggesting that first wife Meri wants out of the family. Is this where the couple's relationship is heading?

It can be recalled that Meri had an online affair that turned out to be a catfish scandal, which she bravely admitted last season. As reported by US Weekly, Kody confessed that although he was unaware of Meri's drama, he was somewhat a "catalyst."

Season 8 will also show how Kody will deal with the scandal as he speaks to Mariah, his daughter with Meri. Additionally, Kody's daughter with third wife Christine, Mykelti, will announce her engagement to her boyfriend of five months.

How will Kody, Christine, and the rest of the family react to this news? Weddings are common in the show, but Kody thinks everything is happening too fast, especially with his 20-year-old daughter.

"Sister Wives" follows the lives of the Brown family, headed by Kody Brown and his four wives and 18 children. The two-hour pilot episode of Season 8 debuts on TLC on Nov. 27 at 8 p.m.
