Techie Teen Dreams To Design Own Online Games But Seeks Stable Family Life, Unconditional Love From Parents

An orphan from Oklahoma longs for a stable family for the first time at 16. Jacob, now in his second year at DHS custody, has a dream that he wants to reach with a family.

Jacob loves playing video games and wants to succeed at it by making it as his own career. Because of this, Channel 4 KFOR had a great ide by bringing him to Brickopolis for his favorite pastime.

"I kind of want to become a game designer. I'm trying to practice for becoming one," Jacob told Channel 4. This teen takes video games seriously, making such more than just games. This kid got the drive to produce innovations in the online game industry in the near future.

Following the active blasting of aliens and shooting of dinosaurs, Jacob was able to talk more about himself. He shared that his favorite subjects in school were Science and Technology. He also enjoys sports but since he moved around so much, it became hard for him to get involved and stay with a particular soccer team, saying, "I was like the best defender on my soccer team."

Jacob's brain is very techie and critical as he likes playing difficult mind games even like putting together puzzles. This is what he does most of time when staying indoors. Most of these puzzles are composed of 1000 pieces. It was a way for healing as Jacob implied in his interview.

The teen orphan has been in and out DHS custody since he was just 3 years old. And now he wants a stable family. Jacob can remember his biological family a little bit but he does not know them, he said. He was once adopted but things did not work out with his new family.

It was not an easy thing for Jacob to think about not being able to go back to his adopted family. He said that he is kind of tired of moving so much already. He wants a stable home and parents who will love him unconditionally for the first time in his life, OKDHS' "A Place To Call Home" shares this to the world, as they try finding a home for Jacob. This cause is sponsored by NBC Oklahoma.
