"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is just getting darker every episode and the new preview revealed Damon (Ian Somerhalder) killing another human once again. Sybil (Nathalie Kelley), on the other hand, is restrained from doing evil deeds as she is kept imprisoned by Alaric (Matthew Davis) and Stefan (Paul Wesley). Meanwhile, "TVD" Executive Producer Julie Plec is now unsure whether Elena (Nina Dobrev) will return in Mystic Falls.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 Episode 4 is expected to see Damon head to Texas in search of a mysterious artifact, Fabnewz reported. There, he will meet Peter Maxwell (Joel Gretsch) who is suggested to reveal something important that could help Damon free himself from Sybil's mind controlling power. Can Damon come back to his humanity and escape Sybil's evil spells?
Season 8 Episode 4 of "The Vampire Diaries" is also believed to reveal how long Alaric and Stefan can keep Sybil in her prison cell. Given Sybil's strong powers, it is surprising that she cannot escape Alaric and Stefan. It seems that Sybil is just playing mind games again and will use Stefan to fulfill another evil mission.
Meanwhile, "The Vampire Diaries" Executive Producer Plec was previously confident that Dobrev will return on the show but things just changed recently. Plec has apparently created an alternative "TVD" finale, if in any case Dobrev will not commit to the show, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported. It remains to be seen whether Dobrev is still willing to hit TV screens again as part of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.
However, Dobrev just recently confirmed her next TV project without hinting her return on "TVD," Parent Herald reported. She is apparently joining "Workaholics" Season 7 as a guest star though her role has not been revealed yet. It is actually Dobrev's first TV project after leaving "The Vampire Diaries."
"TVD" is airing every Friday nights on The CW. In the meantime, let us know your thoughts on "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 in our comments section below. You can also watch a preview of the next episode here.
