Prince Harry Meghan Markle news has somehow deviated the attention of some from the U.S Presidential elections and its aftermath. It started as rumors that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were dating but the relationship was confirmed when Prince Harry through the Kensington Palace condemned the "wave of abuse and harassment" the actress is constantly facing. But with the relationship still under heavy media coverage, will it last?
Ever since Prince Harry acknowledged he was in a relationship with actress Meghan Markle in a statement released through the Kensington Palace, it seems it's business as usual for the prince but the actress is still under scrutiny. Many media outlets have dug up everything they can about Meghan Markle to the point that her mother, colleagues and everyone she came in contact with was harassed by the media. Meghan Markle, known for her role as Rachel Zane in television series "Suits", even took time off from filming "Suits" but the reason is speculated to be due to the sudden increase of media attention on the actress or her scheduled rendezvous with Prince Harry in London this week.
But it's business as usual for Prince Harry. The British Royal has continued to do his responsibilities to the crown and is scheduled to go on a two-week Royal Caribbean tour where the prince will meet singer-actress Rihanna. Prince Harry was even recently seen supporting a rugby match of England versus South Africa but not with Meghan Markle at his side, but with Princess Charlotte of Monaco.
With the contrast of media attention directed to the couple where Prince Harry is portrayed favorably while Meghan Markle has her life turned upside down for any kind of scoop, do you think this relationship will last? Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is essentially in a long-distance relationship too and statistically, forty percent of couples in a long-distance relationship end up breaking up.
Prince Harry's previous relationship also ended with the constant barrage of the media where former girlfriend Chelsy Davy has said, "It was so full-on:crazy and scary uncomfortable". Although Prince Harry's previous relationships lasted a long time, it won't mean that he'd eventually end up in the altar with Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is also facing the issue of inter-racial relationship. Meghan Markle describes herself as someone half Caucasian and half African-American. Although it is not the first time a British Royal had an inter-racial relationship, this is the first one in recent years for the British Monarchy.
With the constant media coverage, their relationship is getting, it seems that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be breaking up sooner than expected. A person can only take so much abuse and harassment. And with their busy schedules adding to their long distance relationship, the cracks in the relationship are already forming. Who knows when they would break up but it is inevitable. So don't expect for wedding bells in Prince Harry's future soon!
