Showtime's "The Affair" comes back for its third season. The critically acclaimed drama-mystery about the consequences brought about an affair aptly titled, "The Affair", has its first episode for its third season released online early!
The second season of "The Affair" left us with Noah Solloway, played by Dominic West, being sentenced to prison for the murder of Scott Lockhart. Now on its third season, "The Affair" starts three years after Noah's out of prison.
To say that "The Affair" is dark and complicated would be an understatement. Now on its third season, besides tackling Noah Solloway's new life after prison, "The Affair" will tackle the guilt of Alison Bailey, played by award-winning actress Ruth Wilson, from knowing that her pushing Scott to the road during an argument led to Scott dying from being run over by Helen who was driving drunk that night.
"The Affair" amps up the drama on the third season with Helen(Maura Tierney) feeling majorly guilty from having her ex-husband, Noah Solloway, go to prison for her mistakes. Helen must deal with their[Helen and Noah's] children thinking their father committed murder. "The Affair" season 3 will also show both Helen and Noah moving forward with new relationships in their lives.
Noah's new love, to be played by French actress Irene Jacob, Juliette Le Gall will help him cope with past trauma while desperately keeping dark secrets of her own. Brendan Fraser will also join "The Affair" on season 3 playing a character that is said to make life hard for Noah Solloway.
If it wasn't enough complications, "The Affair" season 3 will show Cole Lockhart (Joshua Jackson) finding out that baby Joannie is his. This revelation will not only affect Cole but his new wife who didn't know that Cole slept with Allison at the beginning of Cole's relationship with his new wife.
