Amidst the hype brought by the upcoming 'Watch Dogs 2" release on Tuesday, issues regarding the game's seamless multiplayer feature are circulating the web. The game is not yet officially out but an Amazon Prime member can purchase the game, delivered within two hours.
Consumers who got the early copies from Amazon posted photos on their Twitter account as proof. However, one noticeable issue is occurring in the game. An issue pertaining to the game's seamless multiplayer function, which is disabled with a notice that states: "There's currently an issue with the seamless multiplayer feature causing the game to lag and crash periodically. To eliminate that issue, seamless multiplayer is offline until we're able to fix it." This has caused a major concern within the gaming community who's expecting a smooth gaming experience. Ubisoft, on the other hand, has already sent notifications to game reviewers that this is a known issue and is currently their top priority, according to Eurogamer.
"Watch Dogs 2's" Seamless Multiplayer function is one of the game's main feature. This will allow players to meet and interact with random players. This will enable players to form groups or gangs. A group of peers can perform missions or simply explore the vast open world of San Francisco together. Communication utilizes an Emote system which allows each character to communicate through basic gestures. A new mode called "Bounty Hunter," will allow other players to hunt down a specific player who's causing too much trouble, chaos or destruction, with the aid of San Francisco's finest.
The first installment of the series bagged more than 100 awards from various media organizations, critics, and communities that made up the entire gaming industry. The expectations for "Watch Dogs 2" are really high, innovations and enhancement are closely watched by critics and game enthusiasts. Having the main feature disabled due to crashes and lags within the game is not a minor issue.
