As Vox points out Negan falls short of expectations after the explosive premiere episode for "The Walking Dead" Season 7 that left Maggie (Lauren Cohan) a new widow. The media outlet highlights that Negan does not translate onscreen as he does in "The Walking Dead" comic book and fails to impress as well as The Governor (David Morrissey).

At the same time "The Walking Dead" Season 7 Episode 5 "Go Getters" promises uprising against Negan instigated by Carl Grimes and Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos). As Screen Rant reports, Carl Grimes had been vocal against Alexandria continuing to be lap dogs for Negan. Rosita, who lost Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) to Negan, agrees with Carl Grimes.

Vox highlights that Rosita expressed in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 Episode 4 that all it takes to take Negan out is a single bullet. Perhaps, AMC might let that bullet slip if ratings continue to dip over Negan in "The Walking Dead" Season 7.

Carl Grimes, on the other hand, may be on his way out after "The Walking Dead" Season 7. At best, "The Walking Dead" series may see even less Carl Grimes if Chandler Riggs goes through with his plan.

Hollywood Take cites social media post by Chandler Riggs on Twitter revealing is college plans. If Chandler Riggs does pursue a future with Auburn University, or any other university for that matter, then Carl Grimes lying low in "The Walking Dead" is a possibility.

On the upside, "TWD" fans could see more Carl Grimes in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 in preparation for Chandler Riggs' university schedule. AMC will air "The Walking Dead" Season 7 Episode 5 on Nov 20. Share your thoughts with us on possible exits by Negan and Carl Grimes from "The Walking Dead" series.
