Even at 2016, many Galaxy Note 4 users prefer to keep their units and continue using it. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has been a big hit when on its release back in 2014. As more functionalities were added in the S Pen, many users have even favored it over iPhone 4.
According to Know Your Mobile, the Galaxy Note 4 is still as good as it gets even after two years of release. It is obvious that Galaxy Note 5 is an improvement of Galaxy Note 4, however, it did not do so well in the market. Many Galaxy Note 4 users preferred to keep the unit and let the Galaxy Note 5 pass.
Galaxy Note 4 is still considered a fantastic device. In fact, its later version the Galaxy Note 5 has not so much of a difference except for its sleeker design and couple more addition to the S Pen capabilities.
It is known that a Galaxy Note 4 owner in 2016 is better off keeping the unit, especially if the phone is still doing what its main purpose. The Galaxy Note 4 is up for the challenge, may not to most of the developments that took over the course of two years like VR, but still is good.
The Galaxy Note 4's display is considered good and is even up to par to mid-range mobile phones released recently. The display uses 2560 x 1440-pixel resolution at 515 ppi or pixels-per-inch making it extremely sharp- still.
Another "noteworthy" feature of the Galaxy Note 4 is its action memo. It can be accessed through the S Pen. Important notes and reminders can be posted anywhere on the main screen to be reminded of important tasks and just any note. It can be considered a virtual sticky note.
The ability to edit video clips and pictures is impeccable, something that not many mobile devices recently released can't do. If a user takes a video and wants to choose a specific part, it can simply be trimmed. Taking an ID or any important document and erasing private information of it for privacy can also be easily done.
As added by Alphr, the Galaxy Note 4 comes with 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 and 3GB of RAM which still works smooth and responsive in most areas. Playing not too graphic intensive games and YouTube videos should still work impeccably with this device.
A replacement battery though may be needed as the old one may not perform as good after using it for two years. Not all phones are made perfect. Note 4's battery is one of them. Replacing it with an original battery intended for the device should make it perform at its ultimate again.
