Sting 2017 European Tour Updates: Dates Announced; Sting Fairly Deaf?

Sting fans, braise yourselves! The 65-year-old musician just announced the tour dates for Europe and North America. The 2017 tour is for his solo studio album carrying the title "57th & 9th."

According to Sting's official website, the tour will start on Feb. 1, 2017 at Vancouver, Canada. It will be followed by a tour on various cities in the US. The European leg will then start on March 21, 2017 in Barcelona.

The tour also includes two shows in the UK, one at the Manchester's Apollo and in London for the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith. All other additional dates for Asia and South America are set to be announced in the coming weeks. Sting will be accompanied by his longtime guitarist, Dominic Miller, guitarist Rufus Miller and drummer Josh Freese along with his other special guests.

On a recent report by Daily Mail, Sting was last seen performing at the Bataclan Concert Hall in Paris for the first year anniversary of the terror attacks in Paris, France. Sting also posted a heart-warming message on Instagram about the anniversary.

Following reports about his admittance of being "fairly deaf," the musician appears to be not affected at all and in fact, ready as ever to perform. Based on a report by Entertainment Tonight, the music legend refused to use his hearing aid because it worked so well that he heard more than what he wanted to hear.

Full details on the schedule for the 2017 European Tour can be found on the singer's official website.
