"Blindspot" season finale went out with a bang, both figuratively and literally, as the cliffhanger left fans wondering who "dies" when the show picks up where it left off. Show creator Martin Gero dishes out juicy intel on what fans will expect when Season 2 returns.
For now, let's breakdown three major factors on "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 9 "Why Let Cooler Pasture Deform."
Jane "turning" Roman: What will happen to Roman after he loses his memories?
On "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 9, Shepherd (Michelle Hurd) clearly displayed how vile and despicable she really is after ordering Roman (Luke Mitchell) to kill his own sister Jane (Jaimie Alexander). However, the siblings ended up fighting Shepherd together, barely escaping after Roman shot Shepherd.
"Blindspot"creator Martin Gero, in an interview with ET, was asked what will happen to Roman after Jane injected him with the same serum that erased her memories. "He'll be faced with who he was a lot quicker, so it's going to be a very different experience for him, but a pretty fascinating one," Gero said.
The Mole: Who got shot?
"Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 9 finally revealed the mole, as fans have been speculating episodes prior. Dr. Robert Borden is working for Sandstorm all along, although he has been snooping around the lab recently.
This left Patterson furious and out to get justice for she felt she was betrayed. However, as the show was about to end, the cliffhanger left everyone chewing their nails as theories of who got shot were swirling.
According to TV Fanatic, "Blindspot" would never kill off Patterson, who's proven to be the show's breakout character. "We're going to pick it right back up. That's the first scene we start with. Right away," Gero teased during the interview.
So who do you think got shot on "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 9?
Sandstorm's Phase 2: What is phase 2 as it was never really revealed in "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 9?
In "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 9, Sandstorm didn't really explain Phase 2, as Shepherd has something in store for Jane and her team. Although Gero hinted that Weller may play a big role for Sandstorm.
Shepherd will proceed with phase 2 but no one will keep tabs on her. Martin said that Shepherd will have Borden back as Borden steps into Roman's shoes, as her right-hand man. Does this mean Patterson is dead?
