While the rest of the gamers around the world are on their toes for waiting "Final Fantasy XV," one famous icon is apparently not impressed with it. In the latest "Clueless Gamer" episode of Conan O'Brien, he tried the latest Square Enix game with "Lord of the Rings" star, Elijah Wood, and said that "FFXV" is an "epic...waste of time."
"Final Fantasy XV" failed Conan O'Brien. The duo ripped "FFXV" as the host lamented of how boring and realized it has got to be the worst game he has ever played. At first, Conan O' Brien seemed to enjoy playing "Final Fantasy XV" as reported by Rolling Stone, however, as hours passed, he slowly questioned the game's mere existence.
Conan O'Brien and Elijah Wood started to act up as they were forced to push a fancy car towards the desert when it broke down. The "Clueless Gamer" host then ranted of how the role-playing game does not appear to have any leads what will happen or even what they are supposed to do. He even quipped of how ideal it was to run in the desert with a leather jacket on.
At one point, the duo decided to move past the opening portion of "FFXV" because, as Conan O'Brien said, it's killing him and Elijah Wood to boredom. For the host, "Final Fantasy XV" is a complete madness he even joked if it was written by Irish scribe, James Joyce, who is famous for his extremely confusing works.
Just when the pair thought it's the start of the bemusing gameplay of "Final Fantasy XV" when they faced a big bad, Conan O'Brien gave up momentarily and left Elijah Wood to face the "FFXV" foe. The "Clueless Gamer" host instead chose to stand against the wall until something remarkable happens with Elijah Wood's journey.
Further, Conan O'Brien became so resentful he said that playing "FFXV" has been the longest he has ever played in "Clueless Gamer." "I don't know what we achieved, I don't know what we are trying to achieve. I have no sense of satisfaction," Conan O'Brien said.
As they ended they "FFXV" trial, Conan O'Brien suddenly realized that the Square Enix guys are just in the other room, much to his guilt while he ripped "Final Fantasy XV." Nonetheless, he called them "mass murderers of people's time," says CNET.
The "Clueless Gamer" duo may have ripped the Square Enix game yet, it has been one of the critically acclaimed titles of the gaming company. After years-long of anticipation of fans, "FFXV" will finally be released on Nov. 29.
