Eight teenagers unhappy of Donald Trump's win over presidential election heckled president's son, Eric Trump, and his wife, Lara Yunaska, on Thursday night, while they were crossing New York's Sixth Avenue. The teens shouted things such as, "Loves trumps hate!" and "Eric - f**k your father!" The president's son turned shortly to face the teens but then walked away fast with his wife.
On Thursday night about 9:30 p.m., Eric Trump, 32, the third child of President Donald Trump and second son of Ivana Trump, went together with his wife, Lara Yunaska, to a congratulatory dining hosted by their friends in Quality Italian at 57th Street. Eric was congratulated by his friends on his dad's superb win at Tuesday's election.
After roughly five minutes, the couple, who had no security and were just on foot, decided to leave the company. The pair was crossing the Sixth Avenue when the heckling happened. Recognizing the president's son, a menacing crowd of juveniles started to yell ugly words to the members of the first family.
The teenagers yelled things like "Eric, f**k your father!" according to Page Six. A nobler heckler also screamed, "Loves trumps hate!"
Eric Trump shortly turned to look at his attackers but moved away quickly together with his wife, Lara Yunaska. The couple decided not to respond and walked away instead.
However, this is not the first incident of youths protesting over Trump's victory in the presidential election. As per East Bay Times, Oakland schools anti-Trump protest draws over 1,000 students. Yasmine Selvin, 17, one of 1,000 protesters, joined the march to protest against the election of Donald Trump as the president. She told the publication that they came together from Oakland to send a message to Donald Trump that they are going to stand united against him, across race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and legal status.
Another youth rally against the victory of Donald Trump happened in Orange County Amphitheater of Costa Mesa, involving mostly Latino children who are in their late teens and 20s, according to Los Angeles Times. Juvenile rallies held signs such as "Gender Equality," "Build a wall around Trump" and "Dump the Trump.
