‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ First Official Trailer To Launch On ‘Rogue One’ Premiere?

Spider-Man is back to swinging across skyscrapers in New York City and fans of the web-slinger might finally catch a glimpse of him next month if the rumors are true. "Spider-Man: Homecoming" is scheduled to hit theaters on July 7, 2017.

According to ComicBook.com, the first official "Spider-Man: Homecoming" trailer will be released this December to coincide with the launch of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." Seeing that Marvel and Lucasfilm are already teaming up with The Walt Disney Company, it makes sense that the latter will feature their official trailer of the rebooted "Spider-Man" film alongside their "Star Wars" movie.

However, there are no reports yet on what to expect from the upcoming trailer. Marvel has been keeping a tight lip on their current project but taking note of Tom Holland's involvement with the "Captain America: Civil War" movie a lot of fans have surmised that the upcoming trailer might feature Spider-Man trying to adjust to his life as part student and part superhero.

Based on the report by Cinema Blend, Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) visit to Peter Parker's apartment in Queens during the "Civil War" movie may have altered some aspects of Spider-Man in the upcoming film. Since Tony gave Peter a state-of-the-art costume and some cool gadgets the new Spider-Man may be carrying more updated tech compared to the comic book version.

Hopefully, some of those cool gadgets make its way onto the official trailer. Earlier reports already teased some details about the cast of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and Peter's main villain is Michael Keaton. The actor reportedly portrays the high-flying Vulture.

Singer, dancer and actress Zendaya also joined the cast as Michelle and though a lot of people have speculated that her character will be Peter Parker's love interest, she quickly rebutted the allegations. She told Harper's Bazaar that her character is not exactly the romantic type; instead she's more preoccupied with reading books and thinking about other stuff so there's a huge possibility that Michelle and Peter are just going to be friends.
