'Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life' Updates: Season 2 In The Works? Alexis Bledel & Lauren Graham Reveals Another Cliffhanger Finale?

Finally after years of waiting, the eight season of "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life" is almost within reach. Set to premiere on Nov. 25, viewers are more than excited to revisit the beloved characters of Stars Hollow specifically the main characters, Rory (Alexis Bledel) and Lorelai (Lauren Graham). Yet since the revival will only be a four-part movie-length special, fans are wondering if the series will continue for another season.

A post from TV Line suggests the possibility of "Gilmore Girls" Season 9 happening especially since it was previously reported that the revival series will have a cliffhanger ending. Actresses Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham mentioned in an interview that they are grateful for the chance to give the series a closure, but then also feel that the series in one way or another will still continue after Season 8.

Though not confirming another season for "Gilmore Girls," Lauren even joked about the story going on for years that it will soon be called, "Grandma Girls." Alexis Bledel for her part said, that it is probably better to have one big reunion than to let the series go on and on as reported by Movie Fone.

"Gilmore Girls" a heartwarming and entertaining drama-comedy series featuring the strong bond of mothers and daughters is a huge hit worldwide. However its abrupt finale in year 2007 after a seven-season run left many with lots of questions prompting clamor for a show's closure for years. This request will thankfully be granted soon.

Would you like the folks of Stars Hollow back again for Season 9? Meanwhile, don't forget to catch Rory, Lorelai and the rest of the "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life" cast reprise their roles in the season premiere on Nov. 25.
