"Elementary" Season 5 Episode 7, entitled "Bang Bang Shoot Chute," brings Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) and Watson (Lucy Liu) in a murder scene up in the sky. Aired last Sunday, Nov. 20, the episode revolves around a base jumper being murdered while flying out from a plane.
The modern Sherlock Holmes considers the victim a very unfortunate one. Apparently, there is more than one suspect for this murder case. Two people seem to want the base jumper dead. Talk about unfortunate events!
In the episode, the victim was shot. Another killer also sabotaged the victim's parachute. The base jumper may have pissed a lot of people, but why? It was interesting to see how Sherlock and Watson paired up once again to track down the two suspects at the same time.
Meanwhile, "Elementary" Season 5 Episode 7 also focused on Shinwell (Nelsan Ellis), as reported by the synopsis of TV Guide. His storyline is different from other villains in the show because he has appeared in this current season the most.
According to CarterMatt, Shinwell's character allows the "Elementary" Season 5 fans to see the evolution of a character in the show aside from Sherlock and Watson. Shinwell also provides another tension with Sherlock as he constantly tries to get some of Watson's attention.
In fact, "Elementary" fans saw a protective Watson in Season 5 Episode 7. She sees Shinwell talking to someone from his old gang. Did this take Watson's focus from the case?
Another recurring question is, will fans see Moriarty soon this season? Missed last Sunday's "Elementary" Season 5 episode? Watch Lucy Liu and Johnny Lee Miller talk about details of the show in the video below!
