'Gilmore Girls' Revival News: Show Goes On After 'A Year In A Life'? Netflix Boss Says, 'Wherever They Lead, We Will Follow'

The much-awaited "Gilmore Girls" revival is only days away from its release on Netflix. Launching on Friday, Nov. 25, at midnight, "A Year In A Life" will have four 90-minute "Gilmore Girls" episodes.

It's been speculated that the "Gilmore Girls" revival will not end with just the four episodes though. But what does Netflix have to say about this?

"Wherever they lead, we will follow," Netflix boss Cindy Holland said, via Variety. Using the lyrics from the show's theme song, Holland seems to hint that the streaming platform is ready for more "Gilmore Girls" even before "A Year In A Life" premieres.

Cindy Holland also cites that Netflix is only happy to bring the show back nine years after it had gone off the air. The streaming site has the full support of "Gilmore Girls."

"Gilmore Girls" stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel are aware that there are speculations about the revival extending after "A Year In A Life," especially when it surfaced that there's a cliff-hanger ending. TV Line reports that Graham confirmed some things will be left unresolved in the "Gilmore Girls" revival.

What's even stirring talks of the "Gilmore Girls" revival going on after "A Year In A Life" is that the show is making a big deal out of not spoiling the final four words for Netflix viewers, according to Entertainment Weekly. Some fans think that these words are "See you next year," which suggests more "Gilmore Girls" episode.

But as Time reports, "Gilmore Girls" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has had these final four words in mind for over a decade. When she planned for the show's end in the early 2000s, she intended to use these words to give closure to the series.

But Palladino wasn't able to do this because she was no longer part of "Gilmore Girls" in its last season in 2007. It took Netflix to finally allow her to give the show the ending it deserves.

There are a few days to wait for the "Gilmore Girls" revival, "A Year In A Life" and fans will finally have their answers. In the meantime, watch this newly-released teaser below.
