Microsoft Surface Studio Review: Better Than Any iMac And Cintiq? Check Out The Details Here!

The Surface Studio is specially designed for the creative process. The 28" PixelSenseTM Display gives you a huge canvas for all kinds of work. Use it upright, or draw on it like a drafting table. The question is, is Surface Studio better than iMac?

The Surface Studio that is priced from $3,000.00 including VAT is the new iMac. Just as many have got used to with Microsoft Surface Pro, the Microsoft Surface reimagines Apple's all-in-one with a 28-inch touchscreen with the stylus for people who wants to draw, pull, push, and scrub directly on the screen.

According to the Digital Arts review during the hands-on with the Surface Studio at Adobe Max conference in San Diego, Microsoft Surface should give you an impression that Studio will really offer a lot for a modest price for creatives.

Surface Studio is the first that is designed for drawing. HP's Z1 workstation and iMac have the same offer but do not have the pressure-sensitive screen. Apple's iMac do not have the Surface Studio's touchscreen. The generation behind Microsoft Studio's all-in-one is the tech that underpins it.

Matt Smith on Digital Trends summarized the Surface Studio by saying that the Studio is a revolution and that this is the only PC that focused on the needs of the creative professionals with its dedication that Microsoft exhibits with Studio.

The nearest competitor to the Surface Studio is a desktop or laptop connected to Wacom's Cintiq 27QHD. It is a 27-inch monitor that the user can draw and which can also tilt down from nearly vertical to almost flat. The advantage of Cintiq is that you can upgrade to a faster computer in the future without disposing your screen, while a big disadvantage is that it will be more expensive to match the Surface Studio's internal specs if you combine Cintiq with a desktop.

Microsoft began shipping Surface Studio this week of November 21 for those customers who pre-ordered the PC. According to i4u, if you order the PC now you will have to wait up until early next year for their shipment.
