The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 explosions have caused so much noise on television, paper and online. What exactly causes the Galaxy Note 7 batteries to overheat to the point that it explodes? Samsung will finally reveal what went wrong.
The battery problem of Galaxy Note 7 causing the devices to easily catch a fire resulted in a huge sales decline of all their Samsung Note products. IB Times reports that Samsung´s sales suffered its worst drop soon after the smartphone was recalled, even lower than their poor performance in 2012.
Assuming that the Samsung Note 7 units sold have faulty batteries, the company's first move was to replace all of it. Unfortunately, that did not do anything helpful for both the company and the customers. The replacement batteries have found to have the same problem.
Aside from the battery suspected to be the ignition point, other factors need to be considered as well. Samsung has immediately initiated an investigation on Nov. 11th regarding the battery flaws right after the worldwide recall.
According to BGR, Samsung stated that they are already with product safety specialists from Korea and USA to reexamine the device. A complete analysis will be disclosed by the end of the year, with no definite date. In this case, the company needs to examine all possible areas that trigger the battery explosion.
Re-examining the overall battery structure, the hardware itself of the Note 7, software, and even the manufacturing is crucial. Sources claim that with the upcoming launch of Samsung S8, it will take an arm and a leg for Samsung to successfully halt the sales of iPhone.
Meanwhile, iPhone sales have not soared comparably higher despite Samsung´s massive recall of one of their most popular models. The sales percentage of other smartphone vendors Huawei and Oppo remains behind iPhone in the third quarter of this year.
