Many fans are waiting for the official trailer of Marvel's upcoming superhero flick, "Captain America: Civil War." However, until today, no official trailer has been released. Lucky are those who attended the D23 Expo because a teaser was shown to the audience. For those who wish to see what Marvel shared in the expo, you can watch the alleged leaked teaser trailer below.
BGR claimed that one of the audience managed to record a portion of the trailer in a smartphone camera and posted it on Youtube.
The leaked trailer was short, but Entertainment Weekly provided a vivid description of what they saw in the "Captain America: Civil War" footage.
The clip started with the new Avengers in a building, overlooking a crowded market, monitoring something below. "Eyes on target, folks," Cap said. It turns out that Cap, Black Widow and Falcon were trying to get Crossbones. The encounter between the two groups was filled with action. Black Widow flipped through sending bad guys on the air while Crossbones gripped and slammed Cap on the wall.
However, Cap was able to free himself and tore off Crossbone's metal mask. The villain knelt down, defeated, but he said something that stirred the titular superhero, "You know ... he remembered you. Your pal ... your buddy ... Your Bucky." Bucky the Winter Soldier was Cap's bestfriend. Later on the footage, he was seen trapped in a warehouse with his metallic arm locked in a vice.
There was a reunion with Captain America and Iron Man, where the latter said, "Sometimes I want to punch you in your perfect teeth." The movie was packed with superheroes, among them were Scarlet Witch, The Vision, Hawkeye, T'Challa and Ant-Man, who had a hilarious first encounter with Cap.
In a separate report from Entertainment Weekly, Chris Evans, who played the titular superhero and co-star Anthony Malcon (Falcon), talked about the movie during the D23 Expo. The two flew from Germany to attend the event.
"A majority of the Marvel films, it's clear to know who's right and who's wrong," Evans says. "This is one of the first movies where it's parallel to the arguments, I think, we have in life where nobody's right, nobody's wrong. It's just a matter of opinion."
With Evan's words, fans would likely be divided. An earlier report from Parent Herald stated that there would be a conflict between the two factions, who would be lead by Cap and the billionaire genius Iron Man.
There are rumors that the official teaser trailer of the movie will be released in November, according to MCU Exchage.
"Captain America: Civil War" will premiere on May 6, 2016
