"19 Kids and Counting” was one of the long-standing reality tv show in TLC but was later on canceled because of Josh Duggar’s scandal. TLC promised not to include Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s son in any of its show because of what happened, even during Jinger’s wedding.
It can be recalled that “19 Kids and Counting” was canceled amidst the allegations against Josh Duggar. Since then, the Duggars had been trying to come out from the issue.
Recently, Jinger Duggar married Jeremy Vuolo in a woodland theme wedding, according to Entertainment Online. The Duggar siblings, together with their parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar attended the wedding. Yes, you read that right, even Josh was there, but he was hidden all throughout the episode, here’s how.
It was said that TLC banned Josh Duggar from any show and episode, including in “Jill and Jessa: Counting On.” So, to cut him out, they had to use his son to cover his face, especially as Jinger walked down the aisle.
Aside from this, Josh also had to face his back from the camera in some instances to hide his face. He was also seated across his siblings to ensure that he won’t be included when they film the other Duggar siblings.
Though there were rumors that the “19 Kids and Counting” star will be featured in the new show, sources denied the statement. They added that the molestation scandal had banned Josh Duggar from appearing in any shows in TLC, as reported by Daily Mail.
The editing and production team of “Jill and Jessa: Counting On” had to do a lot of editing just to achieve their goal. Good angles of their camera and covering his face with his son was key to the episode, too.
