‘My Hero Academia’ Updates & Spoilers: Season 2 Is Coming, Plot To Feature Sports Festival, Watch Teaser Here!

"My Hero Academia," an anime series following the journey of Izuku Midoriya, a middle-school student who was given his own power or quirk had a successful Season 1 run that featured 13 episodes from Apr. to Jun. 2016. Now to the delight of its fans, the anime show is confirmed to be returning for Season 2. A short teaser video has also been released to further excite the viewers.

According to Adala News, the plot of the second season of "My Hero Academia" will cover the Sports Festival which is a popular yearly event throughout Japan. As the festival will encourage the students in the academy to show off each of their talents, Season 2 then promises to be an entertaining display of amazing prowess and abilities.

Though no official air date has been announced for Season 2 yet, the mere confirmation that it will be back is enough. Besides with a teaser video already available, it probably means that fans don't have to wait for long.

Meanwhile, an earlier post from CrunchyRoll informs that Kohei Horikoshi, the author of the manga wherein the anime series, "My Hero Academia" is based is set to appear in a first public event this coming Dec. 17 and 18. The 29-year old author who once had a TV guesting wearing a mask to hid his face is now ready to introduce himself to the public and it will happen during Jump Festa 2017 to be held at Makuhari Messe in Japan.

The said two-day event is a haven for anime and manga lovers. Fans who wish to catch the stage for "My Hero Academia" should be there on the second day of the event.
