“The Flash” Season 3 episode 9 titled “The Present” shows that happens after the “Invasion.” After the Dominators and the Arrowverse four-way crossover episode, Barry (Grant Gustin) won’t be able to rest, for now.
However, fans weren’t too happy with the family drama that involved Barry and his parents. entGreen Arrow’s (Stephen Amell) face said it all when everyone were pointing their fingers to Barry.
The drama made some fans exhausted with Cisco (Carlos Valdes), and who wouldn’t be? The earth was going to be invaded by aliens, and here they are pointing fingers at Barry, as reviewed by Entertainment Weekly.
Now, off to the next episode of “The Flash” Barry will have to face someone from the past, and that someone is The Trickster (Mark Hamill). It can be recalled that Hamill was afraid that he’d ruined the TV show, but now, he’s going back to make an even more surprising attack.
However, Barry isn’t alone in facing him; he’ll be working with Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp) again in this episode. He’ll seek the help of Garrick by going to the Earth-3 and ask for his advice to fight Savitar, too.
The Trickster will appear in this episode on to of the threat that Dr. Alchemy and Savitar brings in Central City as they are still at large, Comic Book reports. Will Barry be able to get his speed up on all these messes?
It’s the Christmas holiday but “The Flash” sought to make the personal life of Central City’s hero even more challenging. Remember Iris (Candice Patton)? Well, Barry's having some difficulty in focusing on their relationship, obviously with all these villains running around.
