The game was developed by Aniplex which is a division of Sony Music in cooperation with DelightWorks inc and TypeMoon Stud]io. "Fate/Grand Order" is said to have helped Sony Music's operating profit to 23 percent and raising its revenue up to eight percent.
"Fate/Grand Order" is an RPG game equipped with a turn-based battle system which can be observed in games like "Final Fantasy," Grandia, "South Park's The Stick Of Truth," this type of battle system is based on random turns between the player's character and its nemesis. "Fate/Grand Order" is not cheap to produce, a total of almost 200 people were involved in its production development.
"Fate/Grand Order" has been at the top of Japan's App revenue and has been downloaded seven million times since July 2015 when it was released into Japanese Play store and Appstore. It has made more money than Pokemon Go among Android users 104 out of 133 days this year, and 51 days on iOS devices, in the same period, according to an article in Bloomberg.
The Storyline of Fate/Grand Order is about the prevention of humanity's extinction by traveling through time and destroy the space-time anomalies in order to prevent the destruction of mankind. "The name of this mission: "Grand Order", the name for those who would rise up against human history for the sake of humans, and fight fate itself," according to Fate's website.
