'The Walking Dead' Update: Chandler Riggs AKA Carl Grimes Reacts To Exit Rumors [SPOILERS!]

Several reports about "The Walking Dead" centers on the fate of Chandler Riggs' character Carl Grimes. Chandler Riggs finally released a statement regarding his exit rumors on "TWD".

In our previous report, Chandler's father, William Riggs, posted on his Instagram account a photo stating the actor's "freedom". This formed a theory about the 17-year-old actor's character Carl Grimes to exit "TWD" sooner than expected. Chandler later tweeted that he just got accepted in school which somewhat looked like a confirmation backing up his father's post.

With Chandler's acceptance to college, many fans are wondering how this will affect his future in the upcoming episodes in "TWD". The actor's statement was more ambiguous than crystal clear.

In his interview with Hollywood Reporter, Chandler shared his "hopes" to make things work. He shared how he would feel if he'd still continue playing his character as Carl Grimes while studying and enjoying his life as a normal college student.

Theoretically speaking, this set up - being a college student and a series regular - might work only if Chandler will divide his classes to be taken on campus and online. If his professors would allow this, it wouldn't be hard for him to juggle both his roles.

Chandler confirmed that he is trying his best to make his current situation work smoothly as possible. However, the 17-year-old actor chose not to give a statement about his contract for Season 8. If Carl Grimes will truly leave the series, "TWD" fans are hopeful for his return.
