The Nintendo Switch never fails to send shockwaves throughout the gaming community every now and then. Each news update reveals something unexpected about the upcoming console. It seems that the humble Nintendo Switch is not what it seems.
PlayStation boss Shuhei Yoshida, shared his thoughts in relation to Nintendo's upcoming console during an interview with Digital Spy. Shuhei Yoshida stated: "I think it's a unique system. It's very interesting that they've designed the system to work well with more conventional games in terms of inputs and buttons. So I think it's good for core gamers and their marketing message focused on that." The PlayStation head honcho also told Digital Spy that Nintendo is chasing their own market and he does not see them as competition.
Nintendo Switch will also feature a Virtual Console Support for the Game Cube, according to Eurogamer. This means that Super Mario Sunshine will be available for the Nintendo Switch running at 1080p.
One of the notable discussions among hardcore gamers is about Nintendo Switch's Dock which is rumored to be some kind of performance accelerator for the device. Laura Dale of Let's Play Video Games wrote: "When the system is connected to the dock by USB-C, the system's components will run at a higher clock speed to facilitate 1080p resolutions on the TV. Both video and power will be transferred over USB-C when docked. Plugging the system into the dock will also activate a small additional fan to help with cooling when running at that higher clock speed. This fan is in the rear of the dock, and there is a gap in the back of the dock to allow the system's inbuilt fans to vent when docked." The dock is also rumored to be lightweight and will be available as an accessory if the player has multiple TV's in his humble abode.
The epic video game series "Dark Souls" may be ported into the Nintendo Switch. It was rumored that From Software has a working "Dark Souls 3" for the Nintendo Switch." Another latest information about the games coming to the Nintendo Switch was recently tweeted by Liam Robertson that there will be some new characters for the "Super Smash Brothers Switch."
