"Fuller House" Season 2 is finally premiering on Netflix this Friday, Dec. 9 at 12 a.m. PST. As one of the platform's most popular shows, a third season renewal could likely not be far along. But first, what will viewers expect to see in the new season? The cast and creator Jeff Franklin talk about "Fuller House" Season 2.
The subject of men is going to figure a lot in the second season. It was earlier announced that the guys from the boyband New Kids on the Block will be the show's special guests. But Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) will also get a new guy in "Fuller House" Season 2. "She gets to become a little more grounded and settled in her life here with the family," Jodie Sweetin said, according to People.
Kimmy (Andrea Barber) will have a better relationship with her husband Fernando (Juan Pablo Di Pace). The couple is in between divorce and engagement this season on "Fuller House." The complicated relationship will be fodder for the comedy that takes place on the show.
DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) is also going to finally choose who has her heart. If last season she chose to let this simmer, she's going to have her answer in "Fuller House" Season 2. Jeff Franklin won't reveal who the guy is but he told TV Line that even with the choice the writers remain divided between Steve (Scott Weinger) and Matt (John Brotherton).
Jeff Franklin confirmed that the show's third season is far off their minds just yet. Netflix has not yet given the series a renewal at this point. "I haven't done too much thinking about the future," the producer said.
The Legacy cast members -- Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin, Dave Coulier and John Stamos - are also going to be in a lot of the episodes of "Fuller House" Season 2. Catch the show when all of its 13 episodes are out this Friday, Dec. 9, at 12 a.m. PST on Netflix.
