Candace Cameron Bure returned to “The View” Thursday. She made a big announcement during her return tot the daytime series.
Candace Bure stated that she'd be leaving the show after being a host for less than two seasons. It can be recalled that the ABC daytime series started in 1997.
It wasn’t an easy decision, said Bure. However, her commitment to other shows, such as “Fuller House” also her work with Hallmark Channel are the reasons why she’s leaving.
She said that the success of her prior commitments also means that she’ll be needed there more. That’s why she decided to let go of hosting “The View.”
However, the official announcement did not include an exact date as to when will Bure leave the show, for good. It can be recalled that she has been part of the daytime show since July 2015, as reported by Yahoo!
This is not the first time that a host of the ABC shows left because of other commitments. Also, Michelle Collins left the show, too, in June 2016. It can be recalled that Raven-Symoné also left the daytime show because of a spin-off of “That’s so Raven,” as reported by E! News.
Since 2014, “The View” have been having a hard time making the seats of their hosts warm. This started when Barbara Walters left the show in 2014 along with Bill Geddie, the co-creator of the show.
Many fans consider that the show isn’t the same anymore when they only get to see the hosts have their seat longer than just two or three seasons. However, this is television and networks also have to consider the majority of their viewers.
For now, Bure is the latest host that left the show, along with Raven and Collins. As of the moment, there are still no official announcements for the new hosts of “The View.”
