Three of the major film releases by Warner Bros. for 2017 have been moved. First, “Annabelle 2,” along with “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword,” is pushed back.
“King Arthur,” the film stars Jude Law and Charlie Hunnam, is moved to compete with other films, such as “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” in May. It can be recalled that the movie has pushed back several times since July 22, 2016.
The Australian-American film follows the epic adventure and drama of the life of King Arthur. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the film starts with Arthur passing through Londinium. He’s still unaware of his royal lineage until he drew Excalibur from the stone.
The “CHiPs” comedy film is moved forward which will be released on March 24 instead of Aug. 11. It’s a remake of a cop drama set in the 80s. The story follows the lives of two motorcycle officers who targets to take a criminal group in California down, Variety reports.
The cast of “CHiPs” include Dax Shepard and Michael Pena. Shepard also wrote and directed the film himself. The film will be up against “Power Rangers” and “Life” 2017, to name a few, as reported by Deadline.
The sequel “Annabelle 2” have been pushed three months back from its original release date from May to Aug. 2017. The film still revolves around the demonic doll which was also the center of the first film. This 2017, Annabelle will be with a dollmaker and his wife. They couple will then open their home to a nun and girls from a broken orphanage.
The doll was first introduced in the film “The Conjuring” which was first released in 2013. “Annabelle 2” will face off with “Baby Driver” which is directed by Edgar Wright.
