Kojima Productions And Guerilla Collaborates For The Love Of Making Games [DETAILS HERE]

The Game Awards Industry Icon awardee Hideo Kojima are currently in collaboration with Guerilla Games in the development of "Death Stranding." The pact created byKojima Productions and Guerilla Games could produce the next big thing in gaming.

In a recent interview by IGN, three of the most brilliant mind in gaming, Hideo Kojima founder of Kojima Productions, Mark Cerny the architect of PlayStation, and Hermen Hulst co-founder and managing director of Guerilla Games sat down to relive the events which led to the collaboration of two of the most innovative studios in gaming today. Hideo Kojima and Mark Cerny went on a so-called tech tour to different parts of the globe in search for the engine that will be used for the development of "Death Stranding."

TechRadar got a hold of Hideo Kojima's diary during his tech tour and some of the entry somehow shows how much freedom the iconic game developer is experiencing. Hideo visited Crytek in Frankfurt, Ubisoft in Paris, visited JJ Abrams, consumed a lot of sausages before finally ending up in Guerilla Studios in Amsterdam where he Hermen Hulst introduced "Horizon Zero Dawn's" engine that will be used for the development of "Death Stranding." Over time what supposed to be an exchange of ideas became a collaboration.

Going back to the interview, Guerilla and Kojima Productions seems to be in great symmetry when it comes to game development. Hideo Kojima's main concern, however, is for his studio creating a game which is similar to "Horizon Zero Dawn." Kojima also stated that the engine by Guerilla is going to create a better future for the gaming industry. Hermen Hulst, on the other hand, explained that "for the love of making games" he acknowledged the fact that Kojima Productions had a strong creative vision and should not be hampered by not having the means to execute that vision. All in all "Death Stranding" is going to be an awesome game.
