"iZombie" Season 3 has wrapped up filming for the year but the show's production is not completely over. After the holiday break, the cast and crew are returning to the set to film the final episode for the season. Will fans get to watch the first trailer soon?

Co-star Malcolm J. Goodwin (Clive) also posted a goodbye for the show for this year on his Instagram. But he added that they still have one more episode to finish after the holidays before Season 3 filming actually wraps up.

In November, The CW confirmed that "iZombie" Season 3 was given an April 4, 2017 air date. It is slated for an 8:00 p.m. Tuesday schedule before "The Flash," according to Den of Geek.

The network also commissioned 13 episodes for the third season and they have been filming since August this year. Given this, it would be easy to gauge that filming is nearly completed, which means that there could first trailer for "iZombie" Season 3 soon.

With The CW shows set to be presented at the winter event of the Television Critics Association (TCA), it's likely that "iZombie" will have its first teaser to open the year. The TCA happens in on Sunday, Jan. 8, according to the TCA official site.

Meanwhile, "iZombie" creator Rob Thomas said that Season 3 will go into new directions, according to Wired. By this time, zombies are out in the open and there is a looming war against them and the humans. Liv will have to pick a side that will matter to her.
