"iZombie' villain Mr. Stacey Boss is returning for Season 3. Actor Eddie Jemison confirms that he will be back on the set to film his scenes, which will be aired on in the later part of the show's third season.
Viewers might recall that Eddie Jemison as Mr. Stacey Boss was introduced in "iZombie" Season 2 as a duplicitous personality. He looks harmless but he actually has a ruthless way in dealing with his enemies. His part in the series was especially written for him by "iZombie" creator Rob Thomas.
"What I love about old Mr. Boss is all these awful things are done in his name, but he's pretty breezy," Eddie Jemison described his character in an interview with The A.V. Club. "So while he's getting people dismembered, he's also doing his next-door-neighbor-in-the-shopping-mall's taxes," the "iZombie" villain added.
The actor confirms that Mr. Stacey Boss will be in "iZombie" Season 3 for a few recurring episodes, which will be filmed before the holidays. It will be interesting to see what the character's participation will mean for the upcoming zombie uprising, which will have Liv (Rose McIver) and her friends fighting against Vivian Stol (Andrea Savage).
Meanwhile, as for other evil returning characters on "iZombie," viewers should also expect to see Blaine's (David Anders) father Angus (Robert Knepper) in the third season. In "iZombie" Season 2, Angus was depicted as an abusive father towards Blaine. He was last seen frozen and stored at Blaine's basement funeral. The character will figure in the first three episodes of "iZombie" Season 3, according to Entertainment Weekly.
"iZombie" Season 3 will be airing on The CW in the midseason, potentially to take over the Friday slot once "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" goes on hiatus. There will only be 13 episodes to the new season, which Rob Thomas says works better for the show as the writers can make the stories tighter. Check back to this site for more about "iZombie" news.
