‘Battlefield 1’ Holiday Event Kicks Off With A Series of Activities Including A New Game Mode, Dog Tag, & More

The first-person shooter game from DICE and EA finally celebrates the holidays with a special event that kicked off on Dec. 21 and is slated to run until Dec. 29. "Battlefield 1" has a series of activities in store for its players, including a new custom game.

Both DICE and EA released the schedule of events on their official blog page for "Battlefield 1." This is inclusive of what players will earn over the holiday events, according to WWG. The major news that is included in "Battlefield 1" Holiday Event is the addition of a new event, aptly titled "Blind Delivery." It is their newest custom game.


In "Battlefield 1" Holiday Event, Blind Delivery is a variation of the War Pigeons, in which the minimap is turned off. Players are then limited in terms of weaponry to handguns and explosives. Blind Delivery is accessible in the Custom Game tab of the multiplayer menu, per GameSpot.

On Dec. 22, when players log into the game during the "Battlefield 1" Holiday Event, they will be rewarded the "Holiday Truce" Dog Tag until Dec. 29, but only award per one account. Also, a pair of new vehicle skins will be introduced to the game in Battlepacks: the Distinguished SchnucK and the Legendary Desert Gold.

Meanwhile, from Dec. 23 to Dec. 29, every player that logs in during the "Battlefield 1" Holiday Event will get a free Battlepack (one per account). If players want to know more about the contents of the Battlepacks, they can check out the official webpage of "Battlefield 1."

Also, for "Battlefield 1" Premium Pass owners who log in during the "Battlefield 1" Holiday Event will get two Superior Battlepacks. EA noted that is an addition to the already received 14 Superior Battlepacks Premium members get.

This is the battlefield Christmas for most player of the game. The "Battlefield 1" Holiday Event will run until Dec. 29. "Battlefield 1" is now available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
