Fans of Kaley Cuoco (Penny) and Jim Parsons (Dr. Sheldon Cooper) will miss their beloved actors as "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 12 is not airing this Thursday, Dec. 22. The show will be on winter hiatus but spoilers have already floated to give the fans something to ponder on during the long holidays.
The upcoming episode 12 of "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 will air on Jan. 5, 2017 and it will feature Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon in Texas. The two will meet Mary (Laurie Metcalf), Sheldon's mother, who is said to be not bothered with his son living with Amy prior to saying "I do." In addition, episode 12 is also set to feature Bernadette's (Melissa Rauch) frustration in trying to figure out the reason behind her daughter Halley's crying moments, Yibada reported.
In the upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory," fans will see how Amy and Sheldon subtly take over Penny's apartment. Showrunner Steve Molaro told TVLine that if fans will observe carefully, they can see that Sheldon has been transferring his things silently from his pad into the other apartment, which supposedly belongs to Penny.
Furthermore, the showrunner revealed that there might be changes in one of the iconic sets in the show. There are currently three iconic sets, and Molaro admitted he feels disgusted to make a wholesale revamp of one from the three. According to Molaro, the three iconic sets are already embedded in the DNA of the show, so he is not happy to make significant changes.
Meanwhile, when a fan asked for a potential return of Emily (played by Laura Spencer) in "The Big Bang Theory," the showrunner teased some possibility. First, Steve Molaro said that the story of Emily is "temporarily done." However, the showrunner also continued by saying they are also discussing a concept that would require the involvement of Emily.
With regard to the screeching sound of the demon spawn in the fall finale, the showrunner revealed that it was done by "That was Better Things" Pamela Adlon. Steve Molaro also added that Pamela Adlon will continue to do the screeching sound and teased that it will continuously be heard "for the long haul."
