Aside from its quality, the success of a TV show or a movie is largely determined by its audience appeal. For this reason, show creators and producers do take the comments and suggestions of the general viewers seriously. With reports claiming that the people are demanding for a return of TV shows such as "Murder She Wrote" and "The Twilight Zone," viewers just have to wait and see if the wish will be fulfilled in 2017.
A post published in Rotten Tomatoes features some TV classics that folks wish to see again on TV. One of them is the anthology of science-fiction thrillers, "The Twilight Zone." Previous reports claim that Ken Levin will be the writer and director of the revival series yet as of this writing, no new development has been reported about it.
Then folks also want to see a new version of the crime-drama series which starred Angela Lansbury, "Murder She Wrote." Back in 2013, reports claimed that NBC is planning to revive the series and Octavia Spencer is set to play the main character. The said plan was announced as cancelled though in January 2014.
Other TV shows on the list include "Incredible Hulk," "Golden Girls," "The Love Boat," and "Mission: Impossible." Moreover, there is also a demand for the return of classics such as "RoboCop," "Fantasy Island," and "The Six Million Dollar Man."
Meanwhile, a Fox article suggests that the year 2017 will see the continuation of a trend that started this year, which is the revival of TV classics such as "The X-Files," Full House" and "Gilmore Girls." For 2017, some of the shows that will definitely have a reunion include, "All in the Family," "The Honeymooners," and "The Jeffersons."
