"Aquaman," is definitely one of the most awaited standalone films in Marvel's Cinematic Universe. After being introduced in the blockbuster film, "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice," fans are also excited to once again see the former "Game of Thrones" actor, Jason Momoa as the great superhero which has power over all creatures underwater.
Apparently the character of Aquaman has not been presented in a very good light in the past so creating a movie that will elevate the character of this superhero is indeed a challenge. Earlier reports informed that the production for "Aquaman" will start next year and the scenes will be shot in the Gold Coast of Australia as posted in Comic Book. Moreover, the budget for this DC movie is not so cheap as it is reportedly set at $160 million.
If the news above still fail to excite you about the "Aquaman" film then this next update will definitely do. According to an article from Batman News, the team responsible for the stunts is already busy with rehearsals.
As informed by the movie's stunt director, Keir Beck, his team needs to practice because "Aquaman" will require a lot of difficult scenes underwater. Then to further make this news interesting, Beck also happens to be the stunt choreographer for the movie, "Mad Max: Fury Road" which is known for its impressive action stunts.
"Aquaman" which is set for theater release on October 5, 2018, will also star Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, and Willem Dafoe. James Wan who is known for his works such as "The Conjuring" and "Furious 7" will be writing and directing the film.
Before its 2018 release date, fans can first watch out for Aquaman's appearance in the movie, "Justice League" in 2017. Watch out for more updates about this Marvel superhero movie.
