According to Movie Insider, the film tells the true story of how Ray Kroc met Mac and Ric McDonald. They were running a small burger joint in the 1950s in Southern California. Kroc was particularly impressed with how Ric and Mac managed to make their food in a speedy manner that he saw a franchise potential.
The movie then continued as he pulled the restaurant away from the brothers. By doing so, he also created a billion-dollar empire.
The movie "The Founder" also had a good review according to Rotten Tomatoes with a ranking of 79 percent. It also returned the result that 97 percent of 11,645 ratings wanted to see the movie.
The movie stars Hollywood A-lister, Michael Keaton who plays Ray Kroc. He is also joined by Nick Offerman as Dick McDonald, John Caroll Lynch as Mac McDonald, Laura Dern as Ethel Kroc, Linda Cardellini as Joan Smith, Patrick Wilson as Rollie Smith and many more.
Though considered outstanding by most movie critics, the movie also had its fair share of negative reviews based on its limited release on Dec. 7, 2016.
