Melissa Rauch gave birth to her second child, Brooks Rauch, with husband Winston Rauch.
The "Big Bang Theory" star shared an Instagram photo of a beanie with her son's name sewn on it on Monday. She added a caption that says she is thankful and overjoyed to announce the birth of her second child, Brooks Rauch, who they are welcoming into the world and their hearts.
She also praised the doctors and nurses who helped her during her pregnancy and delivery amid the coronavirus pandemic. She said that her son's arrival was made possible by the frontline heroes who showed up every day to make sure that everything is alright despite the global health crisis.
Melissa Rauch Never Thought About Giving Birth During a Pandemic
Melissa Rauch shared in a Glamour exclusive about her experience of giving birth during the coronavirus pandemic and her advice to fellow mamas who are going through the same as her. She said their previous plans of having her husband be with her during her labor did not happen due to the coronavirus pandemic because her husband had to stay at home with their daughter.
She said that she had been so fearful during the few days before she gave birth because she was thinking about how she could give birth without any support beside her. She even had practiced labor breathing while wearing a face mask and brought disinfecting wipes in her hospital bag.
Melissa Rauch realized one thing about giving birth. She shared that she had no choice whether she had her husband with her physically to support her or not and make her be at ease because she said that no matter what happens, her son is coming out, so there is no turning back.
Because of the doctor, nurses, and her husband (that joined her through FaceTime to see the birth of their son), Rauch said that it made her feel safe and protected.
