"Street Fighter 5" finally receives an update after a month of demo, bringing the content it needs. The update offers the players single-player challenges, the in-game store, and Alex, a DLC character, who players can unlock with 100,000 fight money.
"Street Fighter 5 DLC" can be purchased from the in game store, along with costumes and future DLC characters. While most fans only expected to see the costumes momentarily seen in the game's story mode, most were delighted enough to see even more costumes that were not previously revealed.
The "Street Fighter 5" characters such as Alex, Zangief, Ken have been discovered by Shoryuken to have numerous other costumes, including feathers in R. Mika's wresting attire, body armor for Nash, and amusing costumes for the DLC character Alex. Costumes will only change the character's outer appearance, but fans will probably enjoy the option of changing their characters' looks.
The discussion on Steam Community provides fans details about uncovered extra costumes, including images from the modeling process. Before the update, there were already pre order costumes for Chun-Li, Ryu, M. Bison, and Cammy. Each of the four costumes have different color palettes that players can unlock in Survival Mode. To unlock these colors, players will have to spend a lot of time playing the game in Survival Mode.
There are still a lot of DLC planned for release, including a Versus CPU mode and perhaps an Arcade Mode. Fans were initially furious when the game was released without the latter mode, especially since the main game has limited single-player content. The new DLC should satisfy some of the fans wishes but the Arcade Mode is still much awaited.
"Street Fighter 5" can be played on the PS4 and PC platforms. Fans can purchase the season pass which costs $29.99 if they cannot wait for the new characters.
