'Wonder Woman' Release Date, Cast, News & Update: Actress Gal Gadot Admits She's No Superhero In Raising Daughter

"Wonder Woman" actress Gal Gadot might be a superhero in the movies, but she admits she's hardly a superhero when it comes to raising her daughter. The mom worries that she's not giving her child, Alma, enough time due to her demanding schedules with Warner Bros., but she is trying her best to make it work.

As much as possible, Gal Gadot brings her 4-year-old daughter while she's filming on the set. "My mother and my daughter travel with me, so when I'm on the set, my mother will look after Alma and that gives me a lot of comfort," she said per Mirror.

The actress, who was featured in the recent box-office hit "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" as the Amazonian superhero icon Wonder Woman, revealed that she has learned to become organized as a result of her new-found fame. "But being a mother means getting up early in the morning even if you're tired because that's your responsibility," she said, adding that she constantly evaluates if she's doing enough to spend time with Alma.

However, Gal Gadot said that she finds joy in being a mother to her child and does not regret that she had her before her acting career became successful. She believes that if she waited to become an established star before having kids, then the more she won't have any time to pour in raising children.

The 30-year-old Israeli actress and model is married to Yaron Versano and the family is based in Tel Aviv, where her husband is in the real estate business. She got her start at acting in 2009 and has since loved the idea of working for a few months only, so she can take the time off for the rest of the year.

Gal Gadot is also picky about roles she would like to portray, now that she's Hollywood's newest superstar. "When I choose a role, I always think about whether my daughter can get something out of it when she watches the movie later after she's grown up," Gadot said, per Interview.

Gadot wants to portray stronger women in the movies and understands that being Wonder Woman is a great opportunity. Watch Gal Gadot talk about her daughter, Alma, and how she landed the lead role in "Wonder Woman" in this video:
