A new reason to hype about the movie: Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man might be making an appearance.
Robert Downey Jr. talked about his possible appearance as Iron Man / Tony Stark in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" during his "Captain America: Civil War" promotional appearance in Jimmy Kimmel Live, Slash Film reports. "Perhaps I will. We don't have a contract yet," Downey told Kimmel.
The "Iron Man" actor also gave some positive comments about "Spider-Man: Homecoming" lead actor Tom Holland. Robert Downey Jr. called the British actor as fantastic and noted that Spider-Man was actually his favorite superhero growing up, Entertainment Weekly reports. He also noted that Spider-Man is a cool and young superhero who has a great sense of humor.
Many fans believe that Robert Downey Jr. has a very big chance of appearing as Iron Man / Tony Stark in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" movie. Marvel Studios producer, Kevin Feige, has already said that some of the Avengers might have roles in the new Spider-Man movie. In the meantime, Iron Man and Spider-Man will share the movie screen for the very first time in the upcoming "Captain America: Civil War."
