'Red Dead Redemption 2' Latest Leaked Photo
In a Reddit post, a leaked picture has emerged that was allegedly from the website of a former Rockstar Games' employee. But what was more attention-grabbing was the fact that the photo was not part of the original "Red Dead Redemption" game.
"Games 11 and 112. Remember that RDR is game 1 and RDR:UN is game 111," the Reddit post read, GameRant quotes. "So there are two game pages linked that follow the number format to mean they are associated with RDR."
"When you try to visit those pages they 404, like the error says, but the fact that the error exists means there is code on the games list set up to direct to them when they do exist," it continued. "My guesses would be maybe the new RDR game and a remaster of RDR?"
Official photos from the upcoming "Red Dead Redemption 2" has yet to be released but the leaked photo is believed to be a first glimpse of what is coming into the game. However, there are also claims that the newly leaked image might be from the remastered version of the "Red Dead Redemption" game.
'Red Dead Redemption 2' Is Really Happening?
Earlier this year, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed that the company is indeed contemplating to launch a new game this 2016. Even though Zelnick didn't reveal what game it would be, many speculated the possibility for "Red Dead Redemption 2."
It is also believed "Red Redemption 2" will be unveiled at the upcoming E3 2016 event, gaming industry's annual convention that will run on Jun. 14 to 16 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. 'Red Dead Redemption 2' Remaster Possibility
Aside from "Red Dead Redemption 2" rumors, there are also reports that insinuate the development of a remaster "Red Dead" game, as per GearNuke. However, Rockstar Games immediately took down those clues, leaving no further information on what to expect in "Red Dead Redemption 2."
No Virtual Reality Tie-In For Upcoming 'Red Dead Redemption 2'?
Meanwhile, Zelnick recently slammed the rumors that the company's soon-to-be-launched games such as "Red Dead Redemption 2" and "GTA 5" will have any Virtual Reality tie-in. According to Daily Express, Zelnick told the audience at the Cowen and Company Technology, Media and Telecom Conference that the new tech too costly for the company as of the moment.
Zelnick, however, stressed that his statements don't necessarily mean the company is ruling out VR tie-ins. But Take-Two is only "cautious" until the time prices will fall down.
