Nintendo NX is slated to get much earned support from known game publisher Ubisoft. The company's CEO has already announced on an exclusive gaming platform with its collaboration with Nintendo NX.
Ubisoft's Yves Guillemot has also revealed that Just Dance 2017 is one of the projects successfully included in the new game platform. The Division developer and noted publisher have kept silent regarding other games that would be ready for Nintendo NX, says Nintendo-Insider.
Questions on the fate of the Wii U, as well as Ubisoft's experiences in doing support for the game console were also tackled. After the delay issue with Raymand Legends, Ubisoft was able to make it through with their other games such as Assassin's Creed IV, Watch_Dogs to name a few.
However, the game publisher, having pondered over slow console sales was forced to postpone the release for Know Your Friends, an exclusive Wii U game. "The Wii U has done quite well. It's still a Nintendo machine with lots of great franchises, and we've sold lots of copies of Just Dance on it," Guillemot noted.
WCCF Tech also shared some info on the Nintendo mystery console. In the meantime, the Nintendo NX won't be appearing in the 2016 Tokyo Game Show exhibit since the company isn't part of the event's exhibitor group this year.
With Nintendo facing pretty tough competition from its rivals, the company plans on releasing its new console by March next year. According to Tech Radar, Nintendo has given away hints at a different NX system. But there's no new update as to what Nintendo NX console would look like.
What's real so far is that Nintendo has set its sights on making its first VR console. Nintendo's Minamoto said that he looks forward to a new VR console, and intends to reveal a device that is affordable, value-added, and won't leave parents worrying about it.
