Bethesda said the Nuka-World DLC is going to be the last one for "Fallout 4." Update 1.6 goes live on PC with several fixes included.
'Fallout 4' Last Two DLCs
Bethesda has two more expansions in the pipeline for "Fallout 4," its role-playing game set in apocalyptic world. Vault-Tec Workshop add-on is coming this month while Nuka-World is scheduled in August for $20, per GameSpot.
In an exchange with a fan on Twitter, Bethesda's marketing executive Pete Hines was asked if the Nuka-World DLC is set to be the last one or the developer is planning more for the rest of the year. Hines simply answered, "Last one."
Pete Hines confirmation sparked disappointments among fans, especially those who bought a $50 "Fallout 4" season pass that was originally $30. Bethesda raised the price after it expanded its DLC plans. So far, Bethesda has released four DLCs, namely, Automatron (March 2016), Wasteland Workshop (April 2016), Far Harbor (May 2016), and Contraptions Workshop (June 2016). A fan said told Hines on Twitter, "After raising the price of the Season Pass to $50, only $10 less than the full game, we're only getting 3 expansions??" Another one commented, "that is really disappointing. I expected more when I paid for that pass."
Big Projects On The Work
While no more DLCs will be released for "Fallout 4," fans could look forward to more exciting projects from Bethesda. "Fallout" director Todd Howard earlier hinted about "big and crazy" projects the studio is working on. Polygon's report on the possibilities of "Doom" and "Fallout 4" virtual reality shows could be related to this. "Fallout 4" is already heading to HTC Vive by June next year. Bethesda might also be pushing for more mobile games, following the success of "Fallout Shelter."
"Fallout 4" was initially released in November 2015 and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
